When Adam fell into the transgression, he saw that he was naked and hid himself when the Lord God came to him for a time of fellowship. He called out to Adam and Eve and asked ‘Where are you?’ In Isaiah 50th chapter, God is asking to everybody who sold them to the ruler of the world by their own iniquity, “Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? “
Many today hides them from the presence and the voice of God. They hide because their hearts condemn them that they are not worthy to stand in front of them because of the iniquity. Some think nobody could redeem them from this slavery. The ruler of the world subdues them with alluring words to bring fear and hatred in the hearts of his slaves so that they will not seek help of the Only One who has the power to redeem them. To all, those who are afraid to come into God’s presence, to hear His voice, and to have a fellowship with Him, He is asking, “Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver?” What will be our answer? Will we say Lord, I too want to have a fellowship with You, but I am not sure whether You can redeem me from the slavery. Or, Lord, I am in the deep pit of iniquity, the ruler of this world has blinded my eyes like the eyes of Samson during his captivity and I am working for this ruler; will you please redeem me this one time, so that I will be free from this and enter into Your fellowship? It is our desire and faith, which will allow God to work in our midst, to redeem us. His hand is not shortened to save or to redeem. So reach out to Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for your redemption. He has already paid on the cross a ransom for your redemption. Be bold and humble to seek His help. You will never regret it.
