Isaiah 50- 4-5 He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away.

When a parent trains his/her child on the bicycle, they may have something in their mind. It could be simply on the intention of learning a cycle to learn balance and for fun; or, for some they may send their child to professional cycling coaching, in the aspiration of competing in the Olympics or some other events. Whatever is the intention of the parent, those desires will be told to the child and he/she would be encouraged to achieve that goal.

Likewise, our heavenly Father has purposed for us a glorious work in the kingdom of God. He communicates His desire or intention to us through fellowship. If we look at the verse (50:5), He opens our ears to know His desire or intention. When our spiritual ear is opened, we know and understand the will of God in our life. That is why fellowship with God is utmost important than fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters in a church gathering. If we do not know our place in His body, serving His body does not do any good. We will be like a man or woman who beats the air or who runs his/her race with uncertainty (1 Cor 9:26). If this crucial performance is missing in our fellowship with God, then all the joy of learning to walk in Christ will be turned to sorrow. So let us not ignore this, but wait in Him, to know the intention or the desire of the Lord to improve or increase our performance towards the goal that is set for us.
