Isaiah 50- 4-5 He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away.

Holy Servant Jesus Christ, Who is the Son of God is the prime example for this verse. For Him, obedience to the will of the Father is the utmost priority than anything else including food for the body. The main verse here is ‘I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away’. After hearing and knowing His will, how do we react to that plan.

Are we rebellious? When we understand what His desire is, are we acting rebellious to that plan? This happens when His desire is against our desire in the body of Christ. When we first started the fellowship, we may have dreamed or imagined that we should serve the Lord in a particular way. However, when the Lord gives us another assignment, which is not desirable, or notable or likable, how are we receiving and obeying to the will of God? Pharaoh and Saul were rebellious to the will of God and faced the consequences. A hard heart and a prideful heart is a rebellious heart. Once we are in the fellowship and have a heart of hardness then our ‘Born Again’ process is not complete in our life. Are we rebellious to His will? If yes, let us humble ourselves and lean from Christ. He suffered to fulfill the will of the Father even to the point of excruciating pain and death. Allow, God the Holy Spirit to soften your heart, and you will reap the joy of fulfilling God’s righteousness.
