Finally, the soul that prays the prayer should be holy to be a sweet aroma before the Lord. If there is a small defilement, then our prayers also spoiled and it degrades the aroma of the incense. If the prayer does not meet the specification, how it can be submitted before God for His approval?
Holiness is impacted when the external impurities tries to defile the soul. That is why even a small worldly lust will defile our soul greatly. When the soul is defiled, the sweet aroma of the incense will be spoiled. Let us guard our soul from defilement and live our life a holy life according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. If we do so, our Father will always hear our prayers and He will reward us openly. Moreover He will be delighted by the sweet aroma of our prayers, which is mixed perfectly according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure and holy. A Sunday school teacher asked her students to write about prayer. One little girl draw a big circle and wrote ‘GOD’ on it. When the teacher wondered what it meant, she explained that the prayer is from God and to God. When we revolve around God continually in His fellowship, our nature will become a prayerful nature and we always pray without ceasing.
