Luke 19:41-44
41 Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Many times Lord Jesus Christ tries to meet the one who transgressed and choose to walk on the evil ways. He intercepts him/her to repent from their transgressions and to enter in to His eternal life. He does this in many ways according to that individual and His purpose in him. In Amos 4th chapter, He mentions how He tried to intercept the children of Israel, so that they can repent and return to the Lord. He sends famine, drought, economical downtime, plague and some destruction, but still they did not return to Him. This is when He says, ‘Prepare to Meet the Lord’. During the days of Lord Jesus Christ on earth, He gave many signs, miracles, appearance to reveal Himself as their Messiah, but they did not believed Him. Here He wept for them because they did not know the time of their visitation or they did not know Christ during His time of revelation. Is the Lord is giving you many chances to know Him and to return to Him, please I plead with you that do not ignore this time of grace. There may not be one tomorrow. If there is none anymore in your life then you will have to meet the Lord without His Son Jesus Christ. Without Lord Jesus Christ in your life, there is no eternal life. So repent and embrace His knowledge and enjoy His peace and goodness in your life.
