James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Mat 5:11-12 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Third thing that He does to us during our brokenness because of trials is that after the trials, He rewards us openly. When He rewards us with the heavenly blessings, He will also bless us with the earthly blessing as He sees fit. He very carefully administers the earthly blessings, so that we will not go out of the way of righteousness because of these blessings. Some wander off from the truth when this earthly blessing hits them. James 1:9-10 says “Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.” we need to be humble regardless of what we are blessed with.
Regardless of the earthly blessings, we all hope for the heavenly reward that is waiting for us in our Lord Jesus Christ. This is our faith and the hope of our salvation. We run this race to receive that reward. Even if we fall down or took rest for a while in that race, we still have to run the race to receive the final glory when He returns. With this in our mind, as we press on for perfection, let us run the race patiently in faith. Our Lord will bless us, guides us through this process of trials, and make us shine forth His glory in this world.
