Mat 5:11-12 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
When you are rejected by your family, friends or colleagues because of your stand to please God, even though in your inner heart there will be peace and you know that is the right thing to do before God , your emotions does not settle that fast. This is the painful part for any man or woman. Without letting out a cry we won’t be able to come out of it. Whether we cry before the understanding marriage partner or before God, at the least there will be some tears shed.
Candles of various sizes will give light according to their size and the how they are made. When a candle light is tossed to its sides by wind, it tries to burn out the sides of the candle fast. To blow off a candle with a bigger size, which gives more light, will take some force to put it off. Likewise the more we illuminate the Light of the Holy Spirit Who is shining in us, the more opposition will grow from the world. During this conflict our sides or our self will be burnt. When this self is burnt, feelings of rejection and despise will happen like the melting of wax. The good part is our heart still glows brighter for the Lord even though our soul is melting.
If you are rejected and despised because of your stand for God, the feelings of rejections will be turned into joy when you stand before our Lord and our King. Endure it with joy, with the hope that you will receive a glorious reward from the King.
