Prov 21:11 When the scoffer is punished, the simple is made wise;
But when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.

II Peter 1:16-19 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. 19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,[a] which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

How does He lead us to the rock that is higher? He transforms us through His knowledge. This is the key to understand the rescue of our God. The flood may still be there in the lower ground but we are safe from the calamity. Through knowledge, we know that we are rescued and established in the higher ground.

The knowledge is to know who we are, where we are, and the ability of our heart to grab the light that shines on the darkness, which surrounds us as a calamity. When Peter on the mountain saw the vision of our Lord, whose face altered and His robe was glistening, he did not know what was happening and he spoke without knowledge (Luke 9:33) . Later in his life, after He was taught by our Lord and filled by the Holy Spirit, he speaks about this incident in II Peter 1:16-19 with full of knowledge. The same thing will happen to our life if we receive the knowledge from the Lord. This same transformation we will experience when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ come again as King. We will be transformed into His glorious company and that transformation is filled with the heavenly knowledge of unknown proportion.

Knowledge comes from instruction and instruction comes from God the Holy Spirit. When our heart transforms with knowledge that is when we know that we are no longer standing in danger of the flood, but resting in the hills of Bashan, which is the dwelling place of all righteous men.  Knowledge that we receive from the Lord will shine as a light in the tunnel of darkness in which we might be passing through in our life. Are we ready to grab that light? Are we in a position to receive that light? Where there is no knowledge deception and falseness will creep up and choke. Lend your ears to His knowledge and understanding, accept the invitation of the Wisdom and you will be filled with knowledge.
