Exodus 40:38 For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Neh 9:19-20 Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go. 20 You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst.

Israelites saw the LORD based on their deliverance, guidance and their providence. They saw God’s will, God’s leading and God’s deliverance.  No one from their camp can deny that they have not seen it. Likewise, in our life we would have seen our Lord multiple times through His guidance, His sovereign will and by His deliverance.

We could see God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit in all these manifestations. God the Father spread the wings like clouds for the Israelites. God the Son, Jesus Christ, the Rock of Salvation was going before them to lead them, provide them and to have a place of worship in the form of Tabernacle. God the Holy Spirit was going in front of them as a pillar of cloud, pillar of fire to show their way and be a light in their night, and protected from all evil that surrounded them.

Do we believe that we see today God in our life. Or, are we looking for some visions and light and think that we saw Jesus Christ? How did Abraham saw God when He visited him? He saw Him in three persons. One Visitor spoke and the Others were in unity. Two of them went to Sodom to rescue Lot. God is seen among His people even today. His will is established among them by God Himself; the Overseer and our Shepherd Jesus Christ was going in front as a Commander in Chief to complete our race; the Spirit of Christ, leads us under the will of the Father and Son to have fellowship with God, to protect us throughout our journey.

Let us see God in our midst today. Let us glorify His name and worship the Almighty Lord God in truth and spirit.
