John 6:70, 71 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.

The heaven, earth, and all its fullness belongs to the Lord Almighty God. That means devil and his servants is also under His control and sovereignty.  Jesus chose Judas who is the devil. Why God chose him to be with Him? The sovereignty of God the Father is manifested in the selection Judas Iscariot. He used devil to fulfill His will in the life of His Son. In this selection, the devil knows the will of God for him. That is to betray the Son of Man through a vessel called Judas Iscariot. God used devil as an instrument of death, who is good at betraying by living along side as a friend. He is good to live like a close ally and still he can be a deadly enemy. No one is better than he is, so God chose the finest in the area of betrayal to fulfill His will.
