Focus on the ministry through ‘garments of ministry’ from above:

Jam 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

I Cor 14:12Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.

I Cor 14:39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.

In the days of tabernacle, the priests or the high priest should wear the garments according to their ministry (Ex 35:19). These ‘garments of ministry’ is a symbol and a responsibility to minister before the Lord and His people.  The ‘garments of ministry’ symbolically represents the gifts of the Holy Spirit that we receive from the Lord. This will help us in ministering the people of God effectively and according to the heavenly plan and purpose. When we received the wisdom and understanding through these gifts, we would know the will of God for our ministry in our life. Knowing the will of God, we can set our mind to be focused on the ministry that God has given to us through His eternal plan and purpose. That understanding and knowledge will transform our mind to focus on the ministry that is given to us. When our mind is set on our ministerial path then our priorities and desires will be aligned according to the ministry, in our mind. Our focus will be on how to minister for God and for the betterment of His kingdom through these gifts. Our focus on these ‘garments of ministry’ should be along the line of ministry alone, not to fulfill our personal desires or to execute power on children of God. When our focus is set right, then we can hear and understand the voice of God regarding our ministry and our earthly life that surrounds it.
