John 16: 16, 19-20“A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father. 19. ” Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’? 20 Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.

When Jesus our Lord was hanging on the cross, He went through pain and suffering. The anguish that started from the garden of Gethsemane continued on the cross to the grave and finally A New Covenant birthed after His resurrection. “A little while”; a little while as though God forgotten His Son, but that little while is for greater glory and a purpose. The joy of our Lord in God the Father is great that He shared the same Joy with His disciples. When we go through tribulation, it is for ‘a little while’. Once that time is passed we will receive joy that is unspeakable. For our Lord promised that He will be with us always even through the end of the age. Even when we are going through this ‘little while’ time frame, He is with us to uphold us to strengthen us and to comfort us. What a loving and caring God we have in Christ. He shared His love, grace, peace, joy, blessing and ALL that of the Father, He is sharing with us. What a God we love and serve. Amen! Amen!
