Mat 25:14-18 For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.  15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.

A man started his business with little investment. That little investment yielded a good amount of profit. What will a good businessman will do with this profit? Will he invest all of his profit into his business or will he again invest the same little amount into his business? A good businessman wants to grow his business; so he will invest all or most of his profit into the business in order to improve his market share. Likewise in the kingdom of God, when God bless us with His blessing with a little yielding of ourselves, do we use all that blessing back into the kingdom of God or do we keep it for ourselves? If we keep most of His blessings within ourselves for our selfish gains, then we will not grow spiritually in the Lord. Two things will happen when we put back all of God’s blessing back into His kingdom; one, we grow in the Lord and second, He will expand our borders in His kingdom to be a blessing for others who are living within those borders.  Let us pray to God that we should not hide or conceal His blessings according to our selfish ambitions and motives but to yield it for His greater glory.
