Scripture Passage: Prov 8:1-2
1.Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? 2 She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet.
What is the cross road? It is the intersection of righteous path and the unrighteous path. In the game of chess we can see this easily. We can picturize white blocks as righteous path and black blocks are unrighteous and whenever we have cross roads it is between white and black. When we are going down the path of unrighteousness, we will encounter path of righteousness. In this corner of the cross roads, Wisdom stands tall and cry. Wisdom calls all those who are going down the path of unrighteousness to TURN BACK to the path of righteousness. If anyone listens to the Wisdom, they will change the course and enter into the path of righteousness and the end of it will be eternal life. If they do not listen to the Wisdom, then they are heading for destruction. Oh how much it would be good for us if we just listen to the Wisdom and turn back to God’s righteousness in obedience. The things that we acquired when we are heading in the wrong direction like hurt, grief, anxiety, immorality, pride and other aliments in our life will all be eliminated, if we just obey to the Wisdom.
Thought of the Day: The one who found this Wisdom is the one who found peace, joy and self control in his/her life. This will enable them to hear the word of the Lord and to move accordingly in the paths of righteousness. There are no cross roads to those who are led by the Spirit of God. There is no Yes, Yes or No, No, it is always YES in Christ Jesus. Amen.
II Cor 1: 17, 19-22 Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No? For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. 20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
