Scripture passage : Mark 2:15 Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.
What is simple faith?
A simple faith is not little faith or no faith or great faith. It is a faith that does not lay a stumbling block for other members in the body of Christ. Our Lord went with all men with different faith level. He answered all people who came to Him with a different level of faith. He went along with all level of faith in order to gain them for His kingdom. He made sure that He stayed away from evil and the leaven of the Pharisees, but with all the common people He moved with them according to their faith level. This simple walk in His life is our prime example of simple faith. I Cor 9:22 says “to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some”. Apostle Paul did the same, that his faith in Christ Jesus before God is not a hindrance for the gospel of Christ to be accepted by all men.
Thought of the Day: If we know this simple faith and exhibit in our life, then our life would be more fruitful and we will yield fruits unto maturity.
