Scripture passage :

Mat 21:23 Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?”

 Mat 22: 45-46 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

 Mat 10:19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;

Simple Faith as it sounds is not simple to understand. Many question the actions of our Lord. Why did your Teacher is dining with sinners and not with righteous? Why is your Teacher not teaching fasting? Why your Lord cursed the tree? Why your Lord drove people from the temple with no mercy? People question all the time. When you sit in faith they will question, when you stand in faith they will argue. All sorts of questioning are possible for the people who judge according to the deeds and not according to the righteous judgment. It is very difficult to satisfy many different kinds of people. Two things we can take it as a guideline. One we can keep our faith in the Lord before our God unshattered. The second thing is to keep our conscience clear and pure in these situations before God and men. Their questions should not bring doubts in our life and at the same time our answer to them should not trouble our conscience. Our Lord replied to these questions accordingly. Likewise if we walk in the Spirit, He will give us the utterance at that time to have a clear conscience.

Thought of the Day:We cannot premeditate the answers for all situations that may arise, but when we have the relationship with our Lord and walking in the Spirit daily, then our replies will be acceptable before God and men.
