Scripture Passage; Mark 9:17-27

23: Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

In the media nowadays the headliner is about the missing Malaysian Airline. It was an aviation mystery that happened suddenly and baffled the experts. Malaysian officials searched for that plane first in its original path. But then when they had evidence in the radar signal that indicated the plane was diverted from its original path they shifted their whole search strategy to a different region. Even though the experts did not see the plane or know what happened to the plane, keeping this radar data as their only evidence they shifted their whole search. This is the faith that was described in Heb 11:1. That is the same faith that God was expecting in our lives. When we believe in the evidence that was given to us, then we can go ahead in faith and execute the things that we do not see or know about it. This is belief. You believe in the evidence and act in faith or you trust that the evidence is right and go forward in faith. The crucial element here is the evidence. What is that evidence that we can believe and go forward and execute things that are not seen? Jesus Christ is that Evidence.

Thought of the Day: Jesus said all things are possible for those who believe? Now the question is: do you believe in this Wonderful Evidence? If you do, then ALL things are possible to those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
