Scripture Passage: Psalms 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
So who will face the cross roads? Those who are in unrighteous path will face a cross roads. How come one who is in Christ Jesus will be lead into the unrighteous paths? If we look into Ps 23:3 King David says by the Holy Spirit “He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” So the leading of God makes the difference. We have meditated months ago on paths of righteousness. Even though we are in Christ Jesus, we still live in this world with the weakness of a human body. It is like a chess game. When we are moved by God through Holy Spirit, we are walking in the paths of righteousness. Notice here ‘Paths’ that means any path original or alternate still in Him all are paths of righteousness if we are led by God. When we are led by God, wisdom is manifested in our move. At the same time the opponent will try to make us to make a move in the paths of unrighteousness.

Thought of the Day: How the devil makes us to move into the paths of unrighteousness? I John2:16 “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” When we obey to it, then we stepped into the paths of evil. When we are moved by these attributes, our foolishness manifested in our move. When we follow this path of foolishness, then we are heading to the cross road. We will get to a place where the righteous path intersects in our way.

I John2:16 – For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
